You probably know that grief is a natural response when someone dies, but did you know that grief can occur even when you haven’t experienced the death of a loved one? Many significant life changes such as being laid off or getting divorced can also bring a sense of loss and grief.  Even seemingly positive experiences, such as the birth of a baby or a move to a new town for a new job, can sometimes cause grief and sadness as a result of the changes in your life circumstances.  I create a safe environment for exploring and healing the emotional disruption caused by substantial loss, including ongoing and often unrelenting grief, confusion, sadness, anxiety and depression.
